 It is an opportunity to access presence, our inherent intelligence - the awareness that knows, senses, and responds naturally.  Being in the wild nature mirrors this natural state of coherence and offers us a pause long enough to experience life as it is in the moment without effort or fixing. 


The demands of modern life keep attention focused externally. Over time, this can obscure the connection with our deeper sense of aliveness. Coherence unfolds with space and time to be with the nature that resides within. By slowing down and reducing external input, awareness shifts from managing life's circumstances to experiencing life itself. 


In nature, the environment becomes our sensory input, and coherent internal rhythms settle. The body begins to regulate itself naturally.


A safari landscape amplifies this experience through wide horizons, intact ecosystems, and the presence of wildlife living in its natural rhythms. This environment restores a sense of scale and belonging, making it easier to recognize the same intelligence operating in ourselves.



The five-day Safari Revival allows for more than just a quick reset. 


 In addition to the signature morning and afternoon safaris (walking and game drives),  gentle movement and mindfulness routines reset the nervous system and prepare the body and mind to meet the moment. 


Between the two daily safaris, restorative wellness treatments are offered, designed to calm the body and encourage deep stillness. 


Each day follows a simple flow: morning balancing practices, time in nature on safari, time for quiet reflection and rest, optional restorative therapies, delicious meals that bring nourishment and delight, and evenings that offer time to gather by the fire in shared stories of the day – laughter, connection, and wonder under the stars.



Your coherence experience is meant to continue at home. You will gain a visceral reference point, an embodied memory of presence, and practical tools to reconnect with this state in ordinary life.

Wellness Revival Program

The program is designed to awaken presence and deepen your sense of coherence and grounding. Immersed in the stillness and power of the African bush, you are invited to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the richness of the present moment.  The therapies are intended to gently calm the nervous system and reawaken your body's innate harmony. You will have the opportunity to leave rejuvenated with a rich experience to revisit, as well as practical tools for continued benefit.


Your Private Lodge in the Wild

Set within a private luxury lodge reserved exclusively for our retreat, this sanctuary supports the perfect balance of comfort and wild beauty. Spacious cabins open to sweeping views of the African landscape. Between sessions, unwind by the pool, rest on shaded decks where you can watch animals gather to drink from a nearby watering hole, or soak in the sounds of the bush.

Game Drives and Walks

Experience the African bush with expert guides, on foot and in open viewing jeeps. Feel the sense of awe being fully immersed in the wild, as part of nature with all its other inhabitants, from dung beetles to elephants to elusive predators.

Each day offers guided walks and game drives to immerse you in the wild, alongside restorative therapies and practices specifically designed to calm the nervous system and promote grounding. Kundini Funk

Kundini is a Licensed East Asian Medicine Practitioner and a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. She specializes in Classical Five Element Acupuncture and Ayurvedic Medicine and teaches restorative yoga and meditation.


Kundini facilitates one's personal harmony and flow by working with your system's inherent natural elements. She says, “Just as a flower simply opens when it has the elements it needs, so do human beings. We naturally awaken to our innate presence of being.”

Natalie Jones

As a sports massage therapist, she has the privilege of helping people recover from injuries and feel their best. Natalie is also a certified yoga instructor and is currently studying to become a pilates instructor.

"My professional journey has been a winding road, taking me from logistics and procurement management to coordinating sports events and travel coordination. Through it all, I've developed a deep appreciation for the importance of self-care, longevity, connection to nature through simplicity, and the individual journey of self-awareness that life presents. Whether I'm exploring the great outdoors or simply enjoying a quiet moment in the sun, I'm always looking for ways to live a balanced life."

Trevor Funk

As a certified Oxygen Advantage and Buteyko breathing practitioner, Trevor specializes in helping individuals return to the basics of well-being and maximized performance.


Central to his practice is the belief that true well-being and high-performance states start with giving yourself permission to take a timeout and focus on the fundamentals of breathing.


Aruna Rig'dzin

Ordained in the Nyingma lineage by Pema Khandro Rinpoche, Aruna Rig’dzin is a Buddhist teacher, Ayurvedic practitioner, and longtime instructor of yoga and meditation. She is dedicated to helping people live with clarity, vitality, and joy through wisdom practices and holistic healing.

FAQs

  • Is Wifi available?

    Yes, there is great wifi available.  However, we encourage limited use to make the most of the unique opportunity of being in the bush.

  • Is this a malaria free zone?

    Yes, the Black Rhino Reserve is in the Malaria free area. 

  • Can anyone attend?

    There is a moderate level of fitness required for the optional bush walks. The walks can be about 3 hours (with stops to take in the surroundings and view the game)


     Bliss Yoga is a gentle restorative for all ages and bodies. We work on the floor with props and supports to relax the nervous system and offer a deep rest and reset.



  • What about food sensitivities and filtered water?

    Please let us know if you have any food allergies or sensitivities and we will provide delicious alternatives.


    The lodge has filtered water availble to fill water bottles at any time.

  • Are the cabins shared or single?

    The cabins are large and luxurious; Most are shared, however, there are some select options for non-shared cabins. Please let us know via email if you would like to reserve the select option.

  • What dates should international guests plan to arrive in South Africa?

    At least 1 week before the start of the event to recover from jet lag (we can provide further travel ideas); and to acclimatize to the altitude. Johannesburg is approximately 1750 meters (5751 feet) above sea level.

  • What do we need to bring?

    We will supply everyone with a list of suggestions.
